The NSJ Lunch and Learn Series kicks off on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, with our first event benefiting Opportunity Works in Newburyport.
The Lunch and Learn Series is intended to provide local business leaders with an informal setting in which they may acquire useful knowledge over lunch provided by a beloved local establishment. 100% of admission fees from the Lunch and Learn series shall be donated back to the local North Shore community.
Topics will include common employee-related pain points, and ways to address them. Our first event of the series is titled: “Detoxify your Workplace: Managing Difficult Employees and the Negative Culture They Create”.

Bonnie Larity Carson is the Owner and Founder of 17 HANDS, LLC, a local Talent Acquistion and Human Resources firm, as well as the Owner and Founder of North Shore Jobs, a career site dedicated to employers and job seekers on the North Shore.
Bonnie brings over 25 years of hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition and complex Employee Relations to the table as a result of building and managing large teams for employers across the United States. Bonnie founded 17 HANDS, LLC. in 2015, after moving to the North Shore and recognizing the need for experienced Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and General Human Resources support in the local community. The team at 17 HANDS, LLC. has served the North Shore community for nearly ten years, providing support to employers across all industries.
