Job Type: Internship
Randolph Engineering is looking for a product design intern to participate in the various stages of the design process from initial research to conception. The design intern will work closely with designers and engineers. We are looking for someone who likes to work within a small team and excels with teamwork and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with product design, engineers, and marketing
- Assist in creating new design concepts.
- Assist in preparing presentations and meeting materials to managers.
- Create and update tech-packs.
- Research innovative materials and technologies
- Create competitor analysis, market trends and color trends.
- Maintain digital and physical material libraries.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
- Extremely Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Background in Graphic Design or Illustration preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work within timelines.
- Team player mindset
- High organization skills
- Interest in eyewear, accessories and packaging
Schedule
- This is an in-house (flexible) position.
- Monday-Thursday (32 hours per week)
- May-August (negotiable)
