Service Center Technician

Randolph is seeking a Service Center Technician to join their growing team!

Objective: The repair technician is responsible for all repairing and restoring product made or sold by Randolph Engineering in a timely manner to their original condition, assessing and diagnosing sunglass related issues, answer all communications to customers to satisfactory levels, and processes the receiving and reconditioning of materials from customer exchanges and returns. This position requires working in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, must be able to works with hands, as well as time management skills. This role works under the guidance of the Service Center Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform all aspects of the repair on eyewear.

· Ensure that repairs are completed in accordance with company standards, procedures, and policies.

· Ability to accurately troubleshoot repair requirements and provide customer with an accurate estimates and timeframes of repair

· Ensure proper operation of equipment/tools, as well as repair techniques to ensure the repair is back to original condition.

· Maintain accurate records on customers and repairs

· Provide excellent customer service through interaction with consumers to fully understand their repairs needs and provide advice related to their repair or custom product

· Provides updates to consumers at touchpoints or to provide information on delays of their repair.

· Ensures customer satisfaction by addressing concerns or complaints.

· Work closely with other technicians/staff members within the repair cycle

· Technicians must attend periodic training administered by Randolph manufacturing/assembly to insure their compliance and quality in conducting repairs.

Education and/or Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Training can be provided.

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

· At least 2 years previous repair experience;

· Strong customer service skills;

· 18+ years of age;

· Internet / Computer Skills;

· Ability to work with hands daily and carry up to 50lbs

· Proficiency in using specialized repair tools and equipment.

· Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and meet repair deadlines.
