Experienced Sign Installer

North Shore, Massachusetts / Southern New Hampshire Full-time:

We’re seeking a skilled Sign Installer on behalf of an award-winning, owner-operated sign company serving Southern New Hampshire, the Seacoast, and the North Shore of Massachusetts. Our client designs, fabricates, and installs signage in-house, from storefront and channel-letter signs to vehicle wraps and truck lettering. The same crew that builds each sign installs it, so the person in this role sees a project through from the shop to the final mount.

This is hands-on, varied work for someone who is comfortable at height, precise with their hands, and confident solving the practical problems that come with anchoring signage into different building types, from historic New England homes to brick and stucco commercial fronts.

What You Will Do:

-Install a wide range of signage across diverse building types, including wood-frame, brick, and stucco structures
-Work from aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and ladders to complete installations safely
-Assess each surface and structure to identify correct supporting studs, anchoring points, and mounting methods
-Fabricate and prepare signage, and apply truck lettering
-Apply vinyl wraps and lettering
-Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
-Maintain a safe, organized work site in accordance with OSHA standards

What We Are Looking For:

-Demonstrated sign installation experience, including work from aerial lifts
-Experience with truck lettering and sign fabrication
-A valid driver’s license, and a medical card for operation of the company’s trucks
-A contractor or building-trades background, such as house construction or property work, with working knowledge of basic building methods and how to locate and secure to proper anchoring points
-OSHA certification and aerial lift certification are strongly preferred
-Vinyl wrap and lettering experience is a valued addition

Essential Physical Functions:

The following are essential physical functions of this role, the successful candidate must be able to perform them with or without reasonable accommodation:

-Ascend and descend ladders and aerial equipment, and work at height for extended periods
-Position oneself to install signage in varied locations, including reaching overhead, kneeling, and crouching
-Move about active job sites and remain in a standing position for the duration of a work shift
-Move and transport signage, tools, and materials weighing up to 50-100 pounds
-Operate hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity and a secure grip
-Operate a motor vehicle to travel between the shop and job sites

Compensation:

This role starts at the $28-32/hour range, with room for the right candidate to advance to a leadership role within the company.
